Early voting begins on September 19 during the office hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 
a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Auditor’s Office, Pennington County Courthouse, 315 St. Joseph Street.  
For further information on how to vote by absentee ballot, call the Auditor’s Office at (605) 394-
2153 or absentee ballot request forms are available on our web site www.votepennco.com.

The Pennington County Auditor’s Office would like to remind deploying troops to apply for 
absentee ballots.  You can pick up the Absentee Ballot Application at the auditor’s office or find 
it on our website at www.votepennco.com  or call us at (605) 394-2153.  

2008 Ballot Question Pamphlets are available at the Auditor’s Office.  Sample Ballots and voter 
registration confirmation can be found on the new Voter Information Portal.  Log on to
